Grimas Artificial-hair Powder Rouge Brushes are an excellent alternative to brushes made of natural hair. They are used for applying powder and blusher ('rouge') in cosmetics and theatre. There are various sizes; the smaller sizes are particularly good for highlighting and shadowing with Eyeshadow/Rouge and the larger size is recommended for larger areas using pressed and loose powders.Take the powder up with the brush and knock off any excess powder onto your hand before applying the powder to the face.
Cleaning
Artificial-hair Powder Rouge Brushes can be cleaned with shampoo or soap and water. Then knock/shake the water off and lay horizontally on a tea-towel to dry. Do not leave the brush upright, because the water will then be absorbed into the shaft.

Grimas Artificial-hair Brushes are brushes for applying all types of theatrical make-up and powders. Artificial-hair Brushes are suitable for fine lines and face-painting. There are various shapes: round (S2), straight top (S6), filbert (SL6) and oval top (SV6). They have a grey stem and the number indicates the width in mm. The fan-shaped brush (or butterfly brush, SW2) is particularly used for making butterfly forms with water make-up. The fan-shaped brush made of artificial hair has a black stem.Artificial-hair Brushes are suitable for fine lines and face-painting. The hairs may become discoloured over the course of time, but this has no effect whatsoever on the make-up results.
Cleaning
Artificial-hair Brushes can be cleaned with water and shampoo or soap. After washing, mould the wet hairs into the right shape by hand and leave the brush to dry on a towel. Do not leave the brush upright during drying, because the water will then be absorbed into the shaft. Do not leave the brushes standing in a bowl of water for long periods, because this is bad for the hairs.

The lashes are available as set in a box. Pieces of Eyelash are available in various sizes.
Note: always work on a dry base.
Take the Eyelash carefully out of the box. Using the adhesive edge that holds it in the box, you can attach the Eyelash to the upper eyelash edge using tweezers or the fingers. Work from the inside outwards, starting slightly inside the inner corner of the eye. Remove the Eyelash again. Any excess length you can cut off at the outer end.
Hint: if there is any doubt, it is better to make the Eyelashes 1 mm too short!
Apply a little Grimas Eyelash Adhesive to the hand and then apply a small amount of adhesive along the eyelash edge with the point of a spatula or the back of a brush. Take care to use a little extra adhesive for the innermost and outermost ends.
Apply the Eyelash from the inner side outwards using tweezers. Press carefully on with a cotton bud. Work rapidly, as the adhesive dries quickly. After a few minutes, the white Eyelash Adhesive will automatically turn transparent.
Pieces of Eyelash
If you want to apply Pieces of Eyelash to the entire eyelash, use a smaller size for the inner corner of the eye and the centre eyelashes and finish with larger pieces towards the outer edge to create an attractive natural effect.
Apply a little Grimas Eyelash Adhesive to the hand and take a Piece of Eyelash carefully from the box with fingers or tweezers. Dip the 'root' into the adhesive and place it on the eyelash edge. Work from the inner side outwards and do so quickly, because the adhesive dries quickly. After a few minutes, the white Eyelash Adhesive will automatically turn transparent. After this, apply if necessary with Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge and Cleansing Lotion an eyeliner (see "making eyeliner").
Removal
Remove the Eyelashes or Pieces of Eyelash carefully. Clean the eye with Grimas Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Lotion or Make-up Remover.
The Eyelashes can be re-used if they have not lost their shape. Carefully loosen the adhesive from the eyelash edge with your finger and place the eyelash back in the box.

Grimas Latex Prosthetics are rubber noses, snouts, horns, ears and chins. They are used for the theatre, carnival, film and television. When used properly, the latex prostetics can be re-used several times.
Procedure
Take the latex prostetic out of the box and place it on the skin to get an impression of whether the edges are a good fit and where it is soon going to be glued on.
Everything that is going to be coloured in a skin tone - except for the edges - must be pre-coloured slightly with red to suggest naturally perfused skin. To do this, apply a red Grimas Eyeshadow/Rouge using a Make-up Sponge or Powder Rouge Brush. Then use a sponge to apply a covering layer of Grimas Camouflage Make-up Pure in the desired skin tone. Work directly from the stick or spatula.
If you want to give the latex prosthetic a brighter colour, use Grimas Crème Make-up Pure.
Don't use Crème Make-up Pure for skin tones, but use Grimas Camouflage Make-up Pure.Put a piece of wadding in the nose to maintain its shape and to absorb perspiration.
Apply a little Grimas Mastix Extra to the inside of the scales/adhesive edge and allow it to dry for a few seconds. Allow the glue to dry for 15 seconds and then place the latex prostetic back on the skin.
Use a pin-tail comb to hold the scaly edges properly in place and glue them straight. Press the edges down firmly with a tissue. To get a smooth transition between the latex prostetic and the skin, even the edges off as follows: apply a thin line of eyelash adhesive to the edge of a sponge and dab this over the transition between the latex prostetic and the skin. Allow to dry with help of a hairdryer until the result is transparent. Repeat this process until a nice and even transition is obtained.
Colour the edges of the transition with the colour being used. Powder it all off with Grimas Transparent Powder or Fixing Powder and then remove any excess powder.
Removal
Detach the adhesive edge with a cotton bud soaked in Grimas Mastix Remover. Remove the adhesive and make-up residues from the latex prostetic with Mastix Remover. Massage Grimas Multi Remover or Cleansing Cream into the skin and remove with a tissue. Cleanse the skin afterwards with Grimas Cleansing Lotion.Clean the latex prosthetic afterwards using water and soap, and powder it with Grimas Transparent Powder after drying (with a dryer, if necessary). Keep in a dark place.

Grimas System Packaging is a modular constructed packaging with a click-together system. This system fits together with protruding studs (similar to Lego), so that the individual components fit together seamlessly. The packaging system ensures that the totality of Grimas make-up takes up minimal space and is easy to carry around, also in parts. Thanks to this system, all the Grimas products fit together, both in terms of height and width.
The System Packaging makes it possible to combine and click together the requisite products and make-up shades before you go to work on site, so you do not have to take anything other than what you will need. Thanks to the click-together system, the make-up requires less space and there are fewer loose components.
